A Disney vice president saw Dan perform at a corporate function at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. She recommended him for a performance at the CHAMPS charter school in Van Nuys.
The event was headlined by John Tesh, who sang, played the piano and even rapped, which was a bit awkward to say the least.
